About the book
Cori’s Dream: A Night With Gigi is a story inspired by Tina D. Alender and the love that she had for her grandchildren. In February 2017, Tina transitioned to her heavenly home after an intense battle with cancer. At that time she had a 4 month old grand baby and another one that had not yet been born. This book tells the story of Tina revealing herself to one of her grandchildren and showing her the love and protection of a grandmother’s heart for her loved ones. Please come along on this journey with me as I introduce Sweet Cori to her Gigi in the first installment of Cori’s Dream: A Night With Gigi. I hope you enjoy the story.
Cori was just a baby growing in her mommy’s belly when Gigi made her transition to heaven. Never getting to meet or get to know her she often thought about her wonderful spirit. As Cori grew older, she developed a fear of the dark and sleeping alone in her room. As fate would have it one night when her bedroom felt extra dark and gloomy, Gigi appeared. She gave Cori a special gift and with a few pearls of wisdom she helped her get over her fear of the dark.
About the Author
Temigi Taylor grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana where she attended school in the public-school system and is a proud graduate of Broad Ripple High School, Class of 1993. She is a loving wife, a mother of eight and grandmother of twelve. She is a member of Eastern Star Church under the pastoral care and guidance of Senior Pastor Jeffrey A. Johnson Sr.
On February 23, 2017, Temigi lost her sister, aunt & friend Tina D. Alender to cancer. During this very trying time for Temigi she drew inspiration from Tina’s life and came up with Cori’s Dream: A Night with Gigi. Her prayer is that Tina’s husband, children, & grandchildren embrace this short story with all the love that it was created with.
