The story of this book resonates the underlying love and affection of our departed loved ones, and how much we miss their presence. I had so much fun in the creative process for this book. The author is gifted in weaving a story about the love that transcends life and death, in the viewpoint of a child. I am so honored to have illustrated this emotionally moving, wonderful book. I have read Cori’s Dream a night with Gigi…As I finish the book, to me… it left me wanting to read more with Cori going through different dreams as she gets older… like the Judy Blume books… I can see Cori’s Dream a night with Gigi taking off like that…..

Cori’s Dream will give other children and some young adults even the courage to overcome any fear they may have about being alone afraid…its very heart warming and loving …. her Grandmother..whom she has never meet gives her strength to overcome her fears…that’s a beautiful feeling for her I’m sure to be comforted by her Grandma whom she has never met before. This book captures the spirit of love that a grandmother has for her grandchildren. Even for one that she never got to meet, by channeling her love for Cori through her dream by appearing to her as an angel which ultimately calmed her fears of the dark. A beautifully written childrens book. It echos the love and emotions of a woman who would give her last to anyone in need. I also know what it took for Temigi to pour her emotions into the preparing and the writing of this story. It was done with much love and reflection. Bravo! You did a marvelous job! Gigi would be proud of you and so am I. Love you much, Mom
